Like Mandela, We Must Stand for Justice and Democracy

Like Mandela’s fight for justice, I stand for Somalia’s liberation from corruption. One person, one vote will reclaim our future.

As Nelson Mandela dedicated his life to the struggle for freedom, peace and justice in South Africa, I too stand committed to the liberation of my country from the grip of corruption, injustice and inequality.

Somalia’s future cannot and must not be dictated by a broken system that silences its people. We must rise above fear, tribalism and manipulation to restore power where it belongs – with the people.

True democracy is not built on power-sharing agreements decided behind closed doors. It is built on the foundation of universal suffrage. One person, one vote. That is the only way our people will reclaim their voice, and that is the only way Somalia will truly be free.

I will not give up until Somalia’s freedom is achieved. I will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with every citizen who believes in change, progress and justice. This fight is not mine alone – it belongs to every Somali who dreams of a better future.

Our movement is growing, our voices are getting louder, and our message is clear. Somalia must rise – not in conflict, but in unity. Not through force, but through the ballot box. Let history remember us as the generation that stood up and took back our country’s future.

Together, through the One Man, One Vote system, we will make the difference.
