A car bomb explosion in Mogadishu on Saturday targeted a police convoy, killing at least four people and injuring nine others, mostly civilians. The blast aimed at Banaadir regional police commander Col. Farhan Qarole, but he was unharmed. The attack was carried out by the terrorist group al-Shabaab, which claimed responsibility, stating it had killed four soldiers and wounded five others.
