Hope
The guiding force to reignite our beacon of progress and resilience, breaking the chains of corruption that have held Somalia back, and forging a united nation where every citizen has a stake in its future, and no one is left behind in the pursuit of a brighter, shared tomorrow.
Peace
Woven from the voices of many, and strengthened by diversity, our vision to unlock the full potential of our people is a shared endeavour. Somalia must mend its divides, cultivate unity across the land, rising as one – undaunted and resolute – to meet our moment.
Security
By eliminating corruption, conflict, terrorism, and exploitation can we build a secure future where our people and economy thrive. Somalia is a nation on the rise, rich in potential – its lands, resources, and most importantly its people are ready to seize a brighter tomorrow.
Our priorities
A Global Somalia
Somalia must face the world with confidence—open to partnership, not exploitation. We deserve respect and investment, not to be treated as a pariah. Our sovereignty is not for sale.
A Global Somalia

Somalia must face the world with confidence—open to partnership, not exploitation. We deserve respect and investment, not to be treated as a pariah. Our sovereignty is not for sale.
For decades, corruption and instability have allowed foreign powers to bet against Somalia, poison our waters, manipulate our supply chains, and siphon off international aid intended for our people. We are not a nation of dependency – we must reclaim control of our future. Somalia should host mediation and diplomacy efforts – we know better than most what these look like.
We will no longer allow artificial conflicts to divide us or let the world define us as weak or incapable. Somalia is a nation of strength, resilience, and ambition, ready to stand as an equal on the world stage.
XIM will build a Somalia that commands its place among global powers – equal to France, Turkey, and the UK, a partner to the USA, China, and Saudi Arabia, and a leader in Africa and the Islamic world. As a global agricultural powerhouse, we must shape our own future, engage with international organisations on our terms, and ensure that Somalia sits at the decision-making table rather than having our destiny shaped for us.
A Healthy Somalia
The strength of a nation is measured by the health of its people. Yet famine, disease, and conflict have devastated Somalia’s healthcare system. XIM will rebuild it—because our future depends on it.
A Healthy Somalia

The strength of a nation is measured by the health of its people. Yet famine, disease, and conflict have devastated Somalia’s healthcare system. XIM will rebuild it—because our future depends on it.
With 70% of our population under 25, a resilient healthcare system is not just essential – it is urgent. Years of instability have left hospitals in ruins, while healthcare workers lack the recognition and support they deserve.
XIM will create well-paid jobs in the sector, train personnel, and develop hospitals to ensure all Somalis can access good, affordable care. Reducing maternal and childhood mortality will be a priority, alongside improving transport to healthcare facilities.
We must also take control of our own healthcare. By building partnerships with international medical organisations and encouraging Somali professionals to train and work at home, we will lay the foundation for a self-sufficient healthcare system that serves all Somalis.
An Educated Somalia
Somalia’s greatest asset is its young people. With the right education, they can become the architects of a brighter future – one of opportunity, security, and national renewal.
An Educated Somalia

Somalia’s greatest asset is its young people. With the right education, they can become the architects of a brighter future – one of opportunity, security, and national renewal.
More than three million children are out of school, their families unable to afford it. Without education, how can we protect them from extremism and equip them to build a stronger Somalia?
Overcrowded classrooms, poor resources, and low attendance hold our youth back – especially girls and children with disabilities. A thriving nation needs an education system that nurtures, empowers, and instills values of stewardship and citizenship.
Quality learning requires safe schools, skilled teachers, and real opportunities. We must invest in vocational training, uphold traditional Qur’anic teachings, and inspire young Somalis to shape their own futures.
XIM believes education is the foundation of progress. Every child, no matter their background, must have the knowledge and skills to build Somalia’s future – and their own.
An Equal Somalia
For three decades, women have borne the heaviest burden of war and instability. Through resilience and sacrifice, they have held our country together. If Somalia is to rise again, women must be at its heart.
An Equal Somalia

For three decades, women have borne the heaviest burden of war and instability. Through resilience and sacrifice, they have held our country together. If Somalia is to rise again, women must be at its heart.
Women are not just contributors to Somali society – they are its foundation. They have led, sacrificed, and shaped our nation’s destiny, yet too often, their voices are absent from the decisions that shape our future. XIM is committed to a Somalia where every woman’s potential is realised, and no one is left behind.
In Islam, women are the most important people in our lives – they are the twin halves of men. Somalia has long recognised this truth, granting women the right to vote before even nations like Switzerland. That spirit of progress must guide us once more.
A just Somalia is one where liberty, equality, and opportunity extend to all, especially to the women raising our next generation. They stand on the front lines – not only as mothers, entrepreneurs, and leaders – but as the key to ending terrorism and securing a peaceful, prosperous future. Their economic empowerment, political participation, and social inclusion will shape the Somalia we build tomorrow.
A Self-Reliant Somalia
Somalia is not a charity case – it is a nation of untapped strength where our wealth has been mismanaged and squandered. Food security is the foundation of our independence, and with our vast resources, we can become a global agricultural powerhouse.
A Self-Reliant Somalia

Somalia is not a charity case – it is a nation of untapped strength where our wealth has been mismanaged and squandered. Food security is the foundation of our independence, and with our vast resources, we can become a global agricultural powerhouse.
With the longest coastline in mainland Africa, we have the capacity to harvest 200,000 metric tonnes of fish every year. Nearly half of our nation’s wealth comes from livestock – 7.1 million camels, 5.3 million cattle, and 31 million goats. Beneath our land lies abundant oil and gas reserves. These are not distant possibilities, they are opportunities waiting to be realised.
To unlock our future, Somalia needs investment, not dependence. We must stand on our own feet, producing and exporting with pride. As our bananas did in the 1980s, Somali-grown produce should fill shelves around the world today, marked with the words ‘Grown in Somalia’.
Key to this transformation is reviving our mighty Shabelle and Juba rivers, unlocking Somalia’s full agricultural potential. We will put an end to foreign exploitation and internal mismanagement, ensuring that all our resources serve our people. The future of Somalia belongs to Somalis – and under XIM, we will reclaim it.
A Democratic Somalia
XIM stands for one person, one vote – a democracy where every Somali has an equal say in shaping our nation’s future. Somalia belongs to its people. Only they should decide its destiny.

XIM stands for one person, one vote – a democracy where every Somali has an equal say in shaping our nation’s future. Somalia belongs to its people. Only they should decide its destiny.
For too long, leaders have clung to power by silencing critics and dividing our nation. They have thrived on corruption, suppressing democracy to serve themselves. This era must end. Somalia needs leadership that listens, institutions that serve the people, and a political system that reflects the will of the nation – not the ambitions of the few.
XIM is committed to building a multi-party, inclusive democracy where power is decentralised, trust is restored, and election laws guarantee fairness and freedom. We must abolish self-serving institutions, eliminate marginalisation, and open our democracy to all.
We are a political party with a transformative vision. This is a movement for the future – a Somalia where democracy thrives, division ends, and the people decide their own destiny.
A United Somalia
Somalia was strongest when it stood as one. Division has only served those who exploit our wounds, while unity is the key to peace, prosperity, and reclaiming our rightful place in the world.
A United Somalia

Somalia was strongest when it stood as one. Division has only served those who exploit our wounds, while unity is the key to peace, prosperity, and reclaiming our rightful place in the world.
For too long, separation has endured, deepening instability and weakening our nation. We must do everything politically possible to ensure that, despite the ambitions of some, Somalia remains united as it embarks on a new chapter of hope.
XIM’s ‘One Somalia’ vision is built on unity through opportunity. Every region must share in economic prosperity, benefit from peace, and thrive from our vast agricultural exports. A strong Somalia is one where no region is left behind.
Disagreements are normal, but they must be resolved swiftly and amicably. To the world, Somalia must no longer be defined by inter-clan conflict and division, but by a people rising together – emerging from the dark, standing as one, and reclaiming our role and identity on the world stage.
A Lawful Somalia
Somalia is a wealthy nation, yet it is held back by corruption and mediocrity. Without the rule of law, there can be no security, no peace, and no future.
A Lawful Somalia

Somalia is a wealthy nation, yet it is held back by corruption and mediocrity. Without the rule of law, there can be no security, no peace, and no future.
Our leaders are not above the people, nor above the law. We must build institutions that hold them accountable, ensuring politicians serve the nation – not themselves. Corruption and legal inequality fuel radicalisation. Terrorist groups thrive because Somali courts are compromised, and bribes have become the currency of governance.
Trust in our system has collapsed, infecting business, politics, and justice. Without a functioning judicial system, corruption spreads unchecked, and the only ones who suffer are you and your family.
XIM is the party that will restore law and order in Somalia. This is a battle that must be won – because without justice, neither internal nor foreign confidence will return. If corruption prevails, instability and violence will continue. But under XIM, Somalia will choose a different path – one of integrity, accountability, and lasting peace.
An Inclusive Somalia
Somalia’s diversity is its strength. Every citizen, regardless of background or ability, must have an equal stake in our future. True progress demands a Somalia built on liberty, equality, and fraternity.
An Inclusive Somalia

Somalia’s diversity is its strength. Every citizen, regardless of background or ability, must have an equal stake in our future. True progress demands a Somalia built on liberty, equality, and fraternity.
For years, leaders have marginalised groups by ignoring their voices and failing to address their challenges. Somalia is not a charity for the world’s pity, but that does not mean we should not care for our own.
In the eyes of the law, all Somalis have equal rights – now we must turn this principle into reality. A strong nation ensures that no citizen is left behind, and that leadership serves all people of all backgrounds, abilities, and identities, not just the powerful.
Under XIM, Somalia will be a country where every individual has an equal footing in life, and where leaders fight for all Somalis – not just the privileged few.
A Wealthier Somalia
Ending conflict starts with building an economy that gives every Somali a stake in the country’s future. We must be a nation driven by ambition and dignity – not reliant on aid.
A Wealthier Somalia

Ending conflict starts with building an economy that gives every Somali a stake in the country’s future. We must be a nation driven by ambition and dignity – not reliant on aid.
Somalia’s potential is immense but our wealth has been mismanaged and squandered. We are the gateway between East and West, connecting the world’s largest economies. We lead in livestock exports, hold one of the most strategic trade and maritime positions on the planet, and are rich in natural resources – with potential to become one of the top oil and gas exporters on the planet.
But potential alone is not enough – we must create jobs, especially for young people. What use is an educated generation if they have no opportunities to pursue? We must reboot our economy, fuel entrepreneurship, generate real opportunities for growth, and boost our green energy sector. XIM is the party of job creation – because a working nation is a thriving nation.
Under XIM, Somalia will no longer be exploited by those who profit from our instability. We will rebuild an economy that serves our people – not outsiders. Somalia will become self-sufficient, a valued global partner, and spark a renaissance that restores dignity, opportunity, and hope for all. Let’s get to work.
An Honest Somalia
Somalia is a wealthy nation, yet it is held back by corruption and mediocrity. Without the rule of law, there can be no security, no peace, and no future.
An Honest Somalia

Somalia stands at a crossroads – blessed with wealth and potential, yet held hostage by corruption and unchecked power. This is not the Somalia we are destined to be.
To chart a new course, we must confront this reality. Corruption has opened the door to those who profit from our suffering. It has fanned the flames of extremism, deepened divisions, and turned Somalia’s wealth into a weapon against its own people. Much of this has been done with taxpayer money – an abject betrayal of the people of Somalia.
Our land is abundant – not only in natural resources, but in the resilience, ingenuity, and confidence of its people. The Somali spirit has endured, but now it must flourish.
XIM’s core belief is that Somalia can – and must – tear the poison of corruption from our politics. XIM is anti-corruption not just in words, but in action. We will demand transparency, enforce accountability, and build a government that serves the people, not the powerful, returning politics to the principles of service, honesty, and courage.
Somalia can stand tall once again: Secure, united, and prosperous. This is not a distant dream – it is the future we can build, together.
A Safe Somalia
For more than three decades, Somalia has been plagued with civil war, clan rivalry, and terrorist violence. But there is far more that unites us than divides us.
A Safe Somalia

For more than three decades, Somalia has been plagued with civil war, clan rivalry, and terrorist violence. But there is far more that unites us than divides us.
We must free our young people from the trap of extremism, grow our economy to give everyone a stake in the country, and inspire a new, shared vision of Somalia. True development cannot begin before we defeat terrorism.
Corruption fuels terrorism. Tens of millions of dollars in taxpayer money and international aid end up in the hands of Al Shabaab – sustaining a cycle of chaos that works for the powerful and the violent, but devastates everyday citizens. This is the ultimate betrayal of the people of Somalia.
XIM’s vision is for a Somalia no longer defined by war, terror, or the perceptions forced on us by those who benefit from our instability. We believe in a nation reborn – where hope replaces fear, and unity overcomes division. We will fight tooth and nail to restore order to every corner of Somalia, bring back peace and security, and ensure that never again will our country be used as a breeding ground for conflict.
