Many of you may remember a video I shared over a year ago, where I sang a song to uplift our nation, to speak for those who had been silenced, and to remind our leaders that change is not only necessary but urgent for Somalia’s future. That song still resonates today, and it feels even more relevant now as Abshir leads the call for peace and unity. His vision is grounded in the values of peace that run through our bloodline – values that have always been a part of the Isse Botan family. These values are not just something we talk about – they are what guide us in every decision we make and every step we take.

Abshir’s leadership is a reflection of these principles.
