As I reflect on this beautiful day, I would like to take a moment to wish you all a very happy Eid Mubarak. This year, like many others, humanity has faced numerous challenges. But it is in these challenges that we find our strength, the strength to exist and to co-exist with one another, supporting and caring for each other through life’s ups and downs.
On a joyful day like today, we must also remember those who are in need of our prayers and support. While we celebrate this special occasion with family and friends, let us take a moment to appreciate the gift of good health, the warmth of a loving family, and the presence of those who care about us. There are many among us who are not as fortunate, who are not standing in good health today, and for them, our thoughts and prayers are needed most.
After a long month of fasting, reflection, and dedication, today is a day for us all to come together with love and care for one another. It is a day to celebrate our shared humanity and the bonds that tie us together. But as we enjoy this blessed moment, let us remember that there are many who do not have the luxury of this care and comfort all year round. For some, these struggles are a daily reality, with no choice but to endure them.
Let this Eid be a reminder to us all that, as we celebrate, we must also give back. Let us extend our kindness, compassion, and support to those in need, and let the spirit of giving guide us through this day and beyond. The good deeds we begin today should not stop here – let us carry them forward and continue to serve our communities, today, tomorrow, and every day that follows. The choice to make a difference is ours.
