His dedication and bravery in the fight for the freedom and safety of the people of Somalia will forever be etched in our hearts.

Brigadier General Farhan Qarole was a true hero, a man who risked his life to protect the lives of others. His noble work, commitment, and sacrifices in the fight against terror and extremism will never be forgotten. He was a beacon of hope and strength for the people of Somalia, embodying the very spirit of service and selflessness.

As we mourn his loss, it is now time for us to unite – as Somalis, as members of the international community, and alongside the brave peacekeepers who stand with us. We must come together to thwart the growing threat posed by Al-Shabaab. Their escalation plan to target police officers, security personnel, and commanders exposes a grave vulnerability in our security system. This attack on our forces is an attack on the very foundation of our nation’s future.

We must act swiftly and decisively. The international community, in partnership with Somalia’s leaders, must work hand in hand to dismantle these threats and strengthen the security apparatus that protects our people. Brigadier General Farhan Qarole’s life was dedicated to safeguarding Somalia’s future, and now it is our responsibility to continue his fight – to ensure that his legacy is honoured through lasting peace and stability.
