This Ramadan, in the spirit of giving and compassion, I had the privilege of being part of a team that helped feed over 200 families who were in need. In such a difficult period, it’s easy to forget the less fortunate within our communities, but it’s essential that we come together, especially during Ramadan, to help those who are struggling.
Ramadan is a time for reflection, generosity, and empathy, and it’s in times like these that we must support one another. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my team on the ground, who worked tirelessly to make sure that these families received the support they desperately needed. It was an emotional experience to see the gratitude in their eyes and to know that, in our small way, we made a significant impact.
As we reflect on our blessings, it’s essential to remember that the work doesn’t end after Ramadan. The need remains, and we must continue our efforts to help those who are less fortunate. Together, we can make a difference, not just during Ramadan, but throughout the year.
I will always strive to do my part in supporting the Somali people and creating a better future for our nation. This is just one step in a larger journey, and I am committed to making meaningful change for those in need.
