I strongly urge the international community to extend their full support to the African people who are currently trapped in Ukraine and suffering due to this catastrophic war. The discrimination faced by many Africans, including students, is deeply disappointing and unacceptable. It is crucial that world leaders ensure there is no racial bias in the assistance being provided and that every individual, regardless of their background, is given the help they need to safely return home.

In response to this crisis, I am working tirelessly to reach out to all Somali students who are currently stuck in Ukraine. My mission is clear: to bring them back safely to Somalia, where they belong, and to ensure they are not left behind in the face of danger.
