It is with a heavy heart that I extend my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those tragically killed in the horrific act of terror that occurred in Zoobe on October 29, 2022. This senseless attack has claimed innocent lives, leaving a wound that will take time to heal. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families as they navigate this painful time.

Terrorism is an ever-present threat to peace and stability, but we must remain resolute in the face of such cowardly acts. Terrorism will not succeed – not today, not tomorrow, and certainly not in the future. God willing, we will defeat this threat together. The spirit of unity and resilience among the people of Somalia will ultimately prevail.

Now, more than ever, it is crucial that we come together as one – to stand against the forces of violence, extremism, and hatred. Through collective strength, we will rise above these attempts to divide us and instead build a brighter, peaceful future for all.
